Our normal programme of activities has been replaced for the time being with a special pandemic programme, which is a mix of postal activities, on-line activities, weekly bulletins and walks/picnics.

We are a group of adults on the autistic spectrum who meet socially on a regular basis either just to enjoy ourselves or to learn something new.
We are a diverse group of men and women who live in the Sheffield area. Some of us are parents, some work for local employers or are self-employed, others engage in volunteering and other forms of work experience and others still are studying.
For all of us, daily life provides very many challenges and we use a significant amount of energy in negotiating the social interactions required, from travelling about to shopping, to dealing with unknown and unanticipated events.
We have some regular activities which include a monthly meeting at a friendly city centre pub, a monthly lunch in the City Centre, a monthly walk in the area and a fortnightly snooker club.
We have other activities on a more occasional basis and over the past two years these have included:
- Drama workshops
- Craft evenings
- T shirt designing and making
- Ice skating
- Crazy Golf
- Meals out together
- Theatre Trips
Some of us join in many of the activities, whilst other members come to one or two each year, depending upon their particular interests.
Being part of the social group has helped everyone develop more confidence and to grow a circle of friends, sometimes for the first time.
